Our Supplier Inclusion & Diversity Journey

Our journey began with the launch of our Supplier Diversity program in 2015 and made further progress by implementing our Supply Chain Sustainability Program in 2019, aligned with our broader ESG strategy. As a fundamental part of this program, we initiated a new phase of our Supply Chain Inclusion & Diversity Program. This journey is just beginning. In 2020, our program began to identify and track diverse supplier categories within our existing supply chain.

PROGRAM LAUNCHED

2015

Initial phase of the Diverse Supplier Program was launched and key criteria for the inclusion of diverse suppliers in KLA sourcing activities published. KLA identified and categorized diverse suppliers and initiated related reporting to key customers.

GSSD

2019

KLA became a member the SEMI Manufacturing Ownership Diversity (MOD) working group to foster an increase in awareness of the value of diverse suppliers in the semiconductor and manufacturing industry.

WRMSDC

2020

KLA became a Corporate Member of the Western Regional Minority Supplier Development Council to further expand our awareness of business opportunities with certified business enterprises owned by underrepresented groups.

CONTINUE PROGRESS

2021+

We will continue working to bring our strategic plan to fruition, identifying goals and metrics, and tracking our progress in creating even more sustainable, inclusive and diverse supply chains throughout our operations.

    KLA expects all diverse suppliers to obtain certification if they meet any of the applicable supplier diversity categories listed and maintain that certification. By obtaining and maintaining certification, diverse businesses often increase their opportunities for new business and access to resources and support.     Interested in joining the Global Semiconductor Supplier Diversity Group (GSSD)? Formerly known as SEMI-MOD, the group includes representation by SEMI members (manufacturers OEMs and Materials Suppliers), who are devoted to developing a diverse supply chain for the semiconductor manufacturing value chain and breaking down barriers between manufacturers and diverse suppliers.
