KLA’s 20 Years of Semiconductor Industry Support in India
KLA India was established in 2004 as a software hub with three offices in Chennai, including a state-of-the-art, high-tech research and development center.
For more than 20 years, over 770 India-based engineers, data scientists and problem-solvers have been an integral part of KLA’s global engineering R&D team working on industry-leading technology and global customer support.
KLA India’s application and product engineers support KLA’s hardware, software and algorithms at global customer fabs. The goal is to improve the performance of KLA’s process control products and drive customer success.
The team contributes to the global company’s development of advanced algorithms, software and research to create KLA solutions that serve broad industry segments such as automotive and other traditional semiconductor segments.
KLA’s Advanced Computing Labs (AI-ACL) at the IIT Madras Research Park plays a pivotal role in expanding the reach of artificial intelligence (AI) in KLA products and driving development for the next generation of innovations.
